SASC U11 Spring 2010 Girls Age Group Pre-Season Kickoff

The three SASC U11 Girls teams combined at the Sunnyvale Soccer Complex for a pre-season get together on Saturday, playing in 4-aside games. Teams of 4-players from the Devils98, Blades98 and newly formed Revolution98 competed in short games to shake out cobwebs and get their short games tuned up for the upcoming season.

Players from each team were mixed together to all players from the three teams to interact as a unit. It was a great way to kickoff the upcoming spring season. Eight teams were formed, playing in seven 10-minue games.

As SASC forms multiple teams in each respective age group, collaborative training is a great way to develop club unity and expose each player to all the players that make up sister teams.

The event was a great success. Special thanks goes out to coach Tim Newsome for putting the event together.

SASC Annual General Meeting Schedule for Thursday Night

Just a reminder that the SASC Annual General Meeting will be Thursday night (11/06/08) at 7:30pm at Washington Park building in Sunnyvale.

Please come out and hear all the SASC news. We'll review the past year and talk about our plans for next year. This is your opportunity to let your voice be heard if you have any suggestions or comments regarding your kids soccer club. I know you all spend a lot of time on the sidelines every week, so please take an hour or so out of your busy schedules to spend with your fellow club parents/coaches/ board members.

SASC Fun Day

For those that stayed to partake in some of the SASC Fun Day festivities after team pictures were taken on Sunday, you may have seen a couple of very un-dry coaches after their stint in the dunk tank. After Coach Sonya and Coach Brad took dips in the tank, it begs the question, where was Coach VK???
